Dr. Wilber grew up on a large cattle ranch in eastern Oregon. She has had a passion for horses since she was a small child. This photo shows Dr. Wilber at 2 yeas old on her first horse whom she affectionatly refered as "My Horse Lady" Dr. Wilber still has horses and thus can understand first hand the many situations that horses can get themselves into. She is able to relate to her clients as a horse owner as well as a veterinarian. Dr. Wilber has ridden on a drill team for years, enjoys horse camping, roping, hiking and the great outdoors in general.

Dr. Wilber's love of horses has continued throughout her life and dictated her career path. She graduated from Burns High School and went on to University of Oregon where she obtained a bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Biochemistry. She attended veterinary school in Ireland (the home of her grandmother's family) graduating in 1999 with honors. She was the recipient of the Deveraux award given to the senior veterinary student with the greatest aptitude in equine medicine and surgery. She has been a full time practicing veterinarian since 1999 with a primary focus on equine dentistry. Dr. Wilber currently resides in the Willamette valley with 4 horses, 9 dogs, and a multitude of barn cats.
